Dear Readers,
In this August issue of Elisha’s Riddle, our cover article, “Music of the Spheres,” invites us to consider the harmonies that connect the seen and unseen—the patterns, rhythms, and mysteries that have stirred human imagination for centuries.
We are also delighted to welcome a new writer to our pages. Andrea Sinclair begins an original serialized work chronicling the extraordinary story of her mother. It will be called The Music of a Faithful Life: Lessons of Love, Faith, and Courage from My Mother. Its opening chapter, “The Weight She Carried,” introduces a deeply personal journey that will continue to unfold in future issues. We are honored that Andrea has chosen to share this story with the readers of Elisha’s Riddle, and we look forward to experiencing it alongside you.
Also featured is “The Promise of the Father,” the newest contribution to our Seven Spirits of God series. Personally, I believe this is one of the more important things I’ve written, and am praying about it turning into a book in and of itself. Woven with personal testimony and revelation, this piece speaks from lived experience while inviting us into a deeper understanding of the Spirit of God.
This issue also brings the next entry in Walking Stick Journal, titled “Spirals,” as well as Waylon’s latest installment of Between You and Me: “The Cerulean Palace.” Both familiar series continue in their own distinctive voices, adding new turns to the paths they have already begun.
Together, these pieces remind us that every life moves within larger patterns: through music and memory, burdens and discoveries, circles and conversations. We hope you find something in these pages that resonates long after you have finished reading.
